Poks on Paper

Using a limited amount of colours or black and white, more thought and planing is needed to differ one part to its neighboring.

To create this varied spaces, pattern's and line weight's has played an even bigger part. This has lead me to sometimes create works that are simply repeat patterns, without the characters or landscapes I normally produce.

The three works above are Collaborative works with Chicken Heart together we make ChickPoks.

Pok playing cards

The last three of works i have been experimenting with colored ink mixed with gauche to achieve a stronger pigment on the black card. By doing so i am achieving some very bold colours, whilst achieving a more textured finish.
